Situated in the shopping street in the centre of Soller is this famous manor house, built around 1758. The manor houses called “posadas” were the residences that the large agricultural landowners owned in the town. The civil Baroque structure is typical of 18th century Mallorca.
The property is accessed through its original doorway, a semicircular arch formed by wide voussoirs. The most notable part is the main courtyard with stables made up of cambered columns with elegant lowered arches, currently reconverted into an elegant porch.
Curiously, in 1860, Queen Isabella II stayed in this majestic manor house accompanied by the future King Alfons XII.
